Stage 1 Paint Correction: This involves a one-step process using one type of polish and pad combination, ideal for paintwork in good condition with minimal visible swirls and minor marring. A wax is applied to protect the paintwork. Stage 2 Paint Correction: This is suitable for cars with moderate swirl marks and light scratches, requiring the use of two different polish and pad combinations to eliminate any marring or holograms from the previous step. The process is completed with a wax application to protect the paintwork. Stage 3 Paint Correction: This process is designed for cars with heavy swirl marks, scratches, and other paint defects. It involves multiple steps: 1. Application of a heavy cutting compound with a heavy cutting pad to eliminate deep swirl marks and scratches. 2. Use of a cutting polish and polishing pad to remove additional swirl marks. 3. Application of a finishing polish and finishing pad to refine the paintwork to achieve a swirl, mar, and hologram-free finish. 4.
